  • SOIL: It likes to grow in cool, moist but well-drained soil. Acid to neutral, plants planted in another type of soil will be more stunted and less bright in color. It is preferable to amend the soil in heather or peat, embellished with river sand to promote its growth and keep it looking beautiful.
  • GROWTH: The growth of this cultivar is particularly slow and regular. annual growth of 20cm maximum.
  • PATHOLOGY: None.
  • MULTIPLICATION: By grafting on the type. Take the scions, branches of the year, in winter and practice the grafting on rootstocks, from semi, at least 2 years old, head or side graft. The rootstocks must be sheltered from freezing for at least three weeks before performing the transplant. Tighten with a grafting elastic. Young grafts must be kept away from frost, in a controlled humid atmosphere. Prevent the possible appearance of phytophthora.
  • SIZE: Size is not necessary. Possibly pinch a few young shoots with two fingers at the end of May or June.
  • USE: With its fastigated port, it will find its place in all small or medium-sized gardens, in landscaped or structured landscaping.
